Jeanine Baldazo Ortiz

Jeanine Baldazo Ortiz is a political science major who has been a staff writer at The Retrograde since April 2026. She stumbled into journalism after challenging herself into trying rejection therapy (it didn't work). She usually covers political topics affecting students and the administration. After college, she plans to attend law school and pursue a career in humanitarian law. When she's not writing, Jeanine can be found painting, reading and fighting the patriarchy.
