The Retrograde is accepting new applications on a rolling basis. Completion of an application does not guarantee a position at The Retrograde; each department (writing, photography and graphic art) and management position has an associated test and set of requirements.
The Retrograde values maintaining a diverse newsroom through the perspectives and life experiences of its members. As such, The Retrograde does not employ viewpoint discrimination within its hiring process. The Retrograde does not require that applicants have a background in journalism — we welcome students from all backgrounds and majors, and we will train you in the fundamentals of journalism while working to develop your skills over time.
